SECTION 1: Purpose of Heavy Weapons Squad

1. Purpose of Heavy Weapons Squad: 

• Designated under callsign Assassin 1-4, Assassin 2-4.
• Heavy Weapons Squads are specialised support infantry squads that may be attached to regular Assassin Squads for providing fire support and utility.
• Assassin x-4 Squads are not self-dependent and require to be given authorized tasking from Platoon Leader {x-6, x-7}. Assassin x-4 Squad Leader handles assigning Assassin x-4 units per tasking.
  • If there is no Assassin x-4 Squad Leader slotted, Platoon Leader {x-6, x-7} may designate Assassin x-4 unit assignments to Assassin Squads directly.
  • If there is no Platoon Leader {x-6, x-7} slotted, Assassin x-4 Squad Leader may self-determine tasking in consultation with the other active Squad leadership in their Platoon.
  • In order for Assassin x-4 units to be retained as a separate cohesive Squad, an Assassin x-4 Squad Leader must be slotted. Otherwise those units must be attached to another Squad in that Platoon.

SECTION 2: Operations

• Assassin x-4 units must monitor Short Range 140.000 for coordination from their SL. {2nd Platoon: Short Range 240.000}
  • Once attached, a Assassin x-4 unit must also monitor the Short Range frequency for the Squad they are attached to.
• Assassin x-4 units operate as pairs, and each pair may be assigned to a different Assassin Squad or retained as a Assassin x-4 Squad controlled by the Assassin x-4 Squad Leader.
• Once assigned to an Assassin Squad, the Assassin x-4 unit pair falls under the command of the attached Squad's Leader.
  • Assassin x-4 Squad Leader may not micromanage the assigned Assassin x-4 units directly (e.g. giving them direct tasking on positioning or where to fire) though may recall them to Assassin x-4 control if needed, this should be coordinated with Platoon Leader {x-6/x-7}.
• When resupply is needed, Assassin x-4 units should coordinate with Assassin x-4 squad leader to ensure correct equipment is prepared.
• The members of an Assassin x-4 unit pair must operate as a team and share the same overall tasking.

1. Disclaimer:
   • Any player can refuse an order given if it will cause them to break SOPs. (if this scenario occurs remind the parties involved of the SOP in a peaceful manner. If needed reach out to an admin to help mediate)
   • Assassin x-4 is the heavy fire support of the Platoon on the ground, they must be played with the interests of the rest of the Platoon in mind.
